My character, though not having a ton to do with me, will look a lot like me. I always thought PA's characters were based on the writer/artist. After seeing their picture the other day it is clear they are living vicariously through the good looks of their creations. Creepy.

I call shenanigans on this topic voting system. Obviously nobody cares about this by how fast it was derailed, so how does it get voted to the front page when the other topic is much more interesting?

Lets get some kinda vote tracking display. It doesn't have to show who voted for what, but a yes/no total or percentage would be nice. Every other voting system on the internet has it.

In painstakingly unrelated news:
I've almost completed my website today. Or, well, completed the gallery of the site. Maybe some of the 'crappers could be convinced to visit it, click on some things to make sure I haven't missed any bugs? I offer my pseudo-immortal gratitude in return for any sort of feedback.

For now the design is very simple (just colorfilled tables) and the content is mostly pictures of pretty girls (hey that's an incentive to visit I guess). The plan is to fill it up with the various projects I've worked on, as an online portfolio for my upcoming jobhunt.

Anyhow, feedback is welcome.

..hm, maybe posting this to the ferocious 'crap will turn out to be a really poor idea.

Dumdeedum, your comment mirrors the doubts I have. Maybe it really is more flashy tech than content. The concept from the start was one of avoiding having to load new pages all the time.. wether or not that's actually a good idea I'm not sure yet. I'll keep your comment in mind.

What kind of robots is it made for? Your 'folding' concept sucks. There is no point in hiding individual sections if I still have to scroll for the headers.

About the design: I refreshed the website after it loaded for the first time, because I thought there was a browser/connection error.

As history here has shown, many many many times, the polls don't count till the election is over. Every election, they pollers are all shocked with say, the congress switches parties, or some loved govenor loses, or whatever. Chances are, it will be the debates that really decide the outcome, and the host of people - that aren't really counted right now - who have said they are voting for the first time, for whatever reason. This election has a huge unknown in the swing vote this time around, and even with a 13 point lead it's still anyones race.

though you know, it might be fun to part of an evil empire for a while. I can't really knock it without trying it, can I?
