I think they'll all be good series except Detroit - Calgary. Calgary is tired and not that good to begin with. Sure, they beat a more talented Vancouver team, but now they're playing a more talented team that knows how to protect a lead. San Jose doesn't get any respect despite being one of the three best teams in the league. Pundits were picking them as the most likely to get upset in the first round and they're practically being treated as underdogs in the second. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Sharks take the series in 6. A lot of it depends on Aebischer. Against Dallas he was Roylike, but he's still a playoff rookie. I want Toronto and Montreal to win, but I really don't see it happening. Philly will beat up the already beat-up Leafs, and Tampa has something Boston didn't: second line scoring. |

Perhaps I should restate that as "a team that doesn't routinely have defensive breakdowns leaving guys alone in front of the net". Iginla was able to out-muscle Ohlund. If the Wings want they can put Hatcher and Lidstrom on the ice at the same time; that's just unfair. |

Whichever - There was one that was actually the vendors that rebadge as Dell, Panasonic, etc that are a lot cheaper. but they really don't carry anything on the low end worth getting. It's not that they carry rebadged Dells, it's that they buy from the same place Dell does. But on the low end, Dell is usually cheaper. Now, if you are talking the high end, they tend to be a good 600-1000 bucks cheaper than say the Alienware version or whatever. Yeah, his power numbers may or may not be inflated by bulking up on steroids, but technically speaking he's an amazing hitter. |

Most guys around 40 start to LOSE their eyesight. HGH supposedly helps slow that down, I have heard. Hey, when they posthumously induct Bonds into the Hall because he's dead from cancer, an enlarged heart, or something equally nasty, you'll know why. That's a beautiful way to go. Shot by Yot. Don't get me wrong: I completely believe Bonds is on the juice. I just think he'd have been a HOF player either way. *The* most dominant player of his era and arguably the best non-pitcher ever? Probably not, but certainly HOF material. -chris |

Bonds' 73 is hardly a unique abberation either, as there are many others who have seen a year where their HR numbers spiked considerably in 1 year, including players like Maris. Bonds' HR totals over the course of his career have been pretty consistent, averaging around 100 HRs every 2.5 seasons or so. Most guys around 40 start to LOSE their eyesight. While this is generally true, people with better than average eyesight usually don't see significant eyesight degradation until they're quite older. I'm talking about people like fighter pilots and the like who have better than 20/20 vision. Bonds has 20/15 vision. I don't dispute Bonds is a good player, but the steroids issue is, to me, bigger than his stats. Trunks- Bonds never hit more than 50 homers before his 73 year. That mainly had to do with health. I'd be interested to see when his association with BALCO started, and if there is a correlation between the two. BTW, Bonds SUX, and Pete should be in the Hall. That's a beautiful way to go.
