Yuppy And The Alien
November 12th 2002, 16:56 CET by deadlock Grand Theft Auto: Vice City has been out a few days now and I'm sure a few of you have picked it up - I know I have. I'd like to know your opinions on it. How does it rate against GTA3? Was the move to give the central character a name and a voice a good one? Pulled off any wild tricks on a motorbike? Just how annoying are the load times, anyway? Any thoughts at all that you have, post 'em in this thread. |

Geez, take the fun of it out why don'tcha? "Like a Virgin is all about a girl who digs a guy with a big dick. The whole song is a metaphor for big dicks."
Pitiful DVD Collection |

#115 - Warren Marshall The Alec Baldwin scene is worth the price of admission alone. Put..that...coffee...down. Coffee is for closers! Yeah, I loved that movie. Paranoia is just reality on a finer scale.

FUCKERS! SHUT UP!!! LALALALALLALALALALA..... *covering my ears so the Mamet dialogue isn't ruined Reed Rothchild: Have you seen that Star Wars movie?
Eddie Adams: Yeah, I've seen it four times. Reed Rothchild: You know, people tell me I kind of look like Han Solo. |
You see that watch? That watch cost more than your car. "My fu is my strongest feature."
You wanna know what it takes to sell real estate? It takes brass balls to sell real estate. |
ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! F4gg0tz! Reed Rothchild: Have you seen that Star Wars movie?
Eddie Adams: Yeah, I've seen it four times. Reed Rothchild: You know, people tell me I kind of look like Han Solo. |
And as the hours are waning I suggest to you -- those of you who are interested in a continuing job with this organization -- get to work! "My fu is my strongest feature."

Hulka- What do you plan to do the day they're legal? Reed Rothchild: Have you seen that Star Wars movie?
Eddie Adams: Yeah, I've seen it four times. Reed Rothchild: You know, people tell me I kind of look like Han Solo. |

I said do you all a favor and fire your fucking asses because a loser is a loser. "Quit whining you haven't done anything wrong because, frankly, you haven't done much of anything."
Always be closing. |
The leads are weak? The fucking leads are weak? YOU'RE weak. "Quit whining you haven't done anything wrong because, frankly, you haven't done much of anything."
I could literally do this all day. ALL DAY. But it is perhaps best if we did not. Since this is PlanetCrap, I'll wrap this up with.... "Did you ever take a dump that made you feel like you just slept for twelve hours?" "My fu is my strongest feature."
#130 That deserves an EOD. He's clear in his mind, but his soul is mad.
WMA Ha ha! Creating a hash does not a file available make, I'm afraid. Zero sources on a 20000 user server means you and your income-assisted link are dead to me. It is what you think it is.
I found one source, not full, but it's a valid hash, it would seem. I'm just grabbing it to keep in practice, I am so buying that film. "My fu is my strongest feature."
Shameless warez hounds. The lot of you. |
it's not warezing, it's stealing from blockbuster. How can that be wrong? I believe I can fly......urk.

GTA:VC is a great game. It's something that one can really sit down and really sink a couple of hours into if you're willing. For me, that's a long period of playing time. My gaming usually come in smaller increments because of my schedule and my overwhelming need for sleep. However, VC made me pull some later nights than I would have with a regular game. What I think LC gets done very well, better than Liberty City (LC) is a sense of "fuller " world. I feel like I had more places to go and asphault to skid on in LC but VC seems more densely packed in a lesser space(the helicoptor helps VC feel "fuller" as well. The islands are big but alot of that is taken up by beach, golf course, and airport which are not used that frequently. Sure, I have caught a couple bugs and some of the missions have seem unusually unbalanced yet none of that detracts that much from the fun I've been having. Motorcycles: Awesome. I find I spend alot of my time just trying to trick my motocycle off things, trials type stuff. VC really is the current epitome of a "sandbox"-type of game(SP). It's filled to the brim with numerous tasks, missions, tricks, games, searches, whatever. Plus many people seem to just be content to run around and interact with the world in whatever manner suits their mood. Not many games give people that feeling I think. Comment Signature

Thief 3 is gonna be so good. You consolephiles are gonna be cryin' then!!! "My fu is my strongest feature."
If it ever goes past the "what a neat idea that would be" stage, small monkey gods willing. It is what you think it is.
Already in development at Ion Storm Austin innit? He's clear in his mind, but his soul is mad.
I've yet to see a screenshot, so I've yet to believe it. It is what you think it is.
Yes. |
You must believe it will exist, for the website is coming soon. |
Goodness, coming soon. I better pre-emptively wet my pants in anticipation! It is what you think it is.
I did the helicopter mission last night, fucking brilliant! there's stains on the carpet and crap on the pavement
*covering my ears so the Mamet dialogue isn't ruined Forced to watch, Mamet would probably break down sobbing, desperately renouncing method acting. The butchered dialogue would be Abe Burrows', though. (Or, really, whatever poor screenwriter gets tasked with it). Thief 3 is gonna be so good. You consolephiles are gonna be cryin' then!!! Is there any reason to believe it won't also come out for consoles? Other than blind hope. |

Derivatives can kiss my ass. Fucking math. Any faith I had in humanity has taken a train to Monte Carlo and spent the last of my savings on roulette.
#132 I've got 9 sources. Try connecting to AdaNET. "Siu lam gong fu hou ye... hen hou ye..."
Nine sources, ho-lee-cow. Pass. It is what you think it is.
Is this a wares-thread? ...meuh?
I think that both DX2 and Thief3 are headed to the XBox, that was the last rumor I read about. |
Considering Deus Ex got a console release, I'd say it seems somewhat probable that DE2 and Thief3 could easily head down that road. Of course, the DE1 console release was, I think, more than a year later than the PC release. |
Stupid stupid stupid! It won't have any impact on DNF. Nothing really does.
Wow. Actually, I think that exoskeleton is pretty badass. Any faith I had in humanity has taken a train to Monte Carlo and spent the last of my savings on roulette.
Yeah, what is the stupid part? Looks pretty good IMO. |
You are now distracted! She kills you! |
What? No! Intellectual copyright! Fuck! I drew that four months ago! Damn you Legend! ++ plug-in baby ++

I just played the demo for the new James Bond game. I hate to judge the game by one level, but what a pile of festering dogshit. I feel like I'm floating a few inches off the ground. And six or seven shotgun blasts don't bring down some lowlife with a rifle. I am trying to catch up to Ergo's Dvd collection.
Of course I then installed the Impossible Creatures demo and discovered how fun it is to put a skunks butt on a mountain lion. I am trying to catch up to Ergo's Dvd collection.
Marsh You can draw? Why didn't you say something earlier?! It is what you think it is.
Hey, where's this Impossible Creatures demo? I want a skunkbutt lion too. It is what you think it is.
I got it from the PC Lamer disk. I am trying to catch up to Ergo's Dvd collection.
Yeah, yeah, we know. You only read PC Lamer for the articles. |
Marsh: Nice drawring, as you Brits say. Your chances in court are pretty sketchy though, as the screenshot pic hat a see-through plexiglass front to the exo. "With women, I've got a long bamboo pole with a leather loop on the end. I slip the loop around their necks so they can't get away or come too close. Like catching snakes." - Marlon Brando
They will sell more copies if you can see boobies. That's why the front of the suit is clear. Any faith I had in humanity has taken a train to Monte Carlo and spent the last of my savings on roulette.
MCorleone: Your chances in court are pretty sketchy though, as the screenshot pic hat a see-through plexiglass front to the exo. I would go with the defense that they are both ripoffs from something like Robotech, which would put both Marsh and Legend in the wrong. |
MCorleone: Your chances in court are pretty sketchy though Ah well, a bit of Baileyesque ball-sack pummelling will have to do then. ++ plug-in baby ++
Greg Far more Masamune Shirow than Robotech, you hack. It is what you think it is.
