When Iraq Attacks!
December 20th 2000, 15:38 CET by asspennies

According to this unintentionally quirky article on World Net Daily, Iraq is stockpiling PlayStation 2 consoles for the express purposes of building armies of autonomous death machines.

Actually, the article brings up an interesting point, even though much of it is clearly marketing spin, and the "intelligence source" is more than likely a press representative at Sony. With console systems getting more and more powerful, they are essentially becoming miniature PCs - powerful, capable, and in the right hands, potentially effective for other means.

What happens when the XBox is released? As it features a Pentium 3 processor (either 750Mhz, as their specs point out, or perhaps 1Ghz according to rumours), there's really no foreseeable reason why the processor couldn't be pulled out somehow, placed into a PC motherboard, and used as it was always intended - as a desktop processor. If we are actively restricting the sale of processors overseas to countries like Iraq, we should conceivably do the same with any system that uses a processor in its hardware.

Still, one wonders why you can't just pool a lot of Gameboys together and use them to guide a missile. Why do you need an 'emotion engine' to reap destruction? I could do that with Doom.

Wow! My very own bugs! Just like Pokemon, but better!

Are they anything like cockroaches? Or stick insects?

See.... this just proves the dominance of PS2's technology over DreamCraps inferior genesistic architexture...

if you were gonna take over the world, you'd want the best missle guidance video game consoles on the market, right?

I rest my case.

Ok, I'll bite. If I want to guide my missiles of mass destruction, I'll use pooled together PS2s. If I want to play good games, I'll use my Dreamcast.

Fair enough?

Remember, the Japanese read right to left.

But only when text is written vertically, if it's written horozontally its still read left to right. :)

The way I see it, no enemy of the allied nations should possess any of our technology.

Greed, however, usually outweighs ideal.

My first post mommy would be proud.
anyway to whoever said msnbc is a liberal machine I am here to show my lack of knolage on this topic: Correct me if I am wrong but msnbc is "sponsered" by Micro$oft. Wouldent this imply them being conservative since it was in ms' interests for Bush to be elected. One of his promises was to stop the microsoft trials. I hope he brakes it.

Not to be critical of your first post, but I believe you second to last sentence to be false, and your final one to be ill-formed.
