Our long national nightmare averted - NFL season is on, fantasy football owners rejoice. And other sportsy topics.

Sports thread for 2011-2012, at the very least given how long topics stick on the front page.

Wasn't Nutty in the league a few years back, and didn't he try to grief m0nty by playing scrubs against other teams?  Zep is a troll too, and you kind of get what you deserve with trolls.

Wait wait... I forget now, but if Zep did troll in the league, he is perma banned imo. It's supposed to be about being competitive and having fun, not dicking around. We can do that here...

Yeah, Wudi/Zep. You know I don't dislike you (well, internet you), but you have trolled hard in the past. Said horrible things merely to get a reaction.

That stuff sticks. Trust me, I am known as the hippy who cares too much (that's how I like to view it anyway) here. Whatever the reality is, people here especially, have a hard time looking past their known stance on someone and seeing something different.

So if you aren't going to troll us anymore, great. If you want that perception to die, you need to give it time and effort.

Also, this:

Don't make me bring my world views into sports talk!

But, since you did. All I was saying is that empathy is a lost ability these days. Seen as a hinderance rather than a part of the bigger solution it is.

I have another draft on Sept. 1st so I'd appreciate another day for our draft here.

I think the league has voted affirmative to you and Wudi joining. Trunks will have to add you, I think. I suppose you both will need to give email addresses and pick a team name.

Roughriders and Rough Riders are both taken. But you can have Ruffriders, Ruff Riders, or possibly Roughridaz. I'll confer with Shadarr on that last one.

Do you mean tomorrow? That's way too early. The draft needs to be after the last pre-season game incase of injuries and nonsense like that.
