The Bears game was missable, except for the snow.

I wish I'd taped the Jets game, I watched about five minutes and then had to go to hockey.  Still, all the teams I really hate are out of the playoffs and that's a nice feeling.  I'd say I'm rooting for the Packers and Jets from here on.

I hope it's Steelers-Packers, just because Cowboys fans hate those two franchises, and I'd love to see one of then hoist the trophy in Jerry Jones's sandbox right on the center of that big ass star. If the Steelers pull it off, they'd be sick for weeks.

Going with my feeling that the Super Bowl should go to the team that hasn't won it in the longest amount of time, I'm rooting for Jets vs. Bears with a Jet victory. That would be good.

Yea, there's a double root against for the Steelers. First is that they won it twice in relatively recent years, and that I don't want the Rapster to win.

Rapeliceburger won a Superbowl while pitching the worst game in history for a winning QB. So I guess, go Green Bay!

Most correct response: Go Packers, Go Jets (because I'd rather the Packers play the Jets)

I am really meh on the NFC matchup. I should be pro-Packers, but they took the Giants playoff spot so I'm meh on them. Similarly the Bears are to blame for that, so while I should be into this game I'm not too into it and am just biding my time until the main event, the AFC game.

Sorry, Chunk. There's still a quarter to go, but with the third stringer QB in that has thrown a total of 8 passes in his career, it's not looking good.

Nice game Pack, this almost makes up for ruining the NFC win streak.

And now, we wait for the lockout.

I broke even on the superbowl. I won $5 on the coin toss and doubled it down on the MVP, but I lost $10 on a prop bets point total. It was pretty fun yelling at Aguilera to drag that shit out past 1:54, and in yo face when the gatorade was orange.

Yay NFC! Winners of 3 of the past 4 Superbowls!

Jeremy, I'd like to think that it's highly unlikely that the players and owners would attempt to piss of the gold egg laying goose, but part of me thinks that they will. If they do, my gut reaction is to quit of the NFL for a while (but I probably won't).

I heard about these kinds of bets for the first time this year and wondered to myself, "who would bet on the color of gatorade or how long it takes to sing a song...?"

I guess lwf has answered that question.

Good Superbowl. I picked the Steelers, but the Packers earned it. Commercials were not great, but all right.

That's when the NBA lost me.  I never missed a Jazz game before the strike, once they came back I'd lost the love.  Now I probably only attend a couple of games in person, and watch maybe five on tv every year.

Oh, and JJ- what's the overall vibe there regarding Jerry Sloan's resignation? I heard Williams got some boos at the last home game.

People were pretty pissed at Williams even though Sloan didn't come right out and say he had anything to do with it.  Ever since Larry Miller (the former owner that passed) has been gone Sloan hasn't been too happy with some of the trades the management has made.  Sloan is the only coach some fans have known, it was a pretty big shock when he left.  He got pissed during a game, talked to management that night, and quit the next day.  This was all a week after he'd agreed to another extension on his contract.

Nobody is that excited about Tyrone Corbin as the new coach either because he was formally the third or fourth assistant coach, and hardly has any experience.
