Here he is. Doesn't have it. If it was some disguise in a scene of the movie, sorry, I've forgotten about it. It has been about 500 years sice I last saw it! "Action stars of two decades ago shot .44 bullets out of their cocks. Honestly, if me and Charles Bronson were in the same room I'd kill myself just to make sure he didn't hurt me."
FJM has used this occasion to point out problems with Bissinger's writing. I read his book "3 Nights in August" and its pretty hefty with garbage to make a Moneyballer turn over in their grave. |
#49 by FoRmaT BTW, is that the robot from Short Circuit? Did Pixar make Short Circuit, and would they be advertising it on trains right now? |
Is this a trick question? "Action stars of two decades ago shot .44 bullets out of their cocks. Honestly, if me and Charles Bronson were in the same room I'd kill myself just to make sure he didn't hurt me."
If he wasn't kidding I at least hope he'll one day reveal he's a Joker alt, at least it'll make some sense then. "Gaggle doesn't believe anyone should bother gaining skill in anything because anyone could gain skill in anything if they just put the time to it." - BjB

Sorry I don't remember all the details of a 20 year old movie, you silly viking! "Action stars of two decades ago shot .44 bullets out of their cocks. Honestly, if me and Charles Bronson were in the same room I'd kill myself just to make sure he didn't hurt me."
Things just get better and better for Roger Clemens! |
It's Shaq's fault. |
I blame Steve Kerr. |
Whoa, okay...your old bud from high school tracks you down after fifteen or so years and asks for money because his sister needs it for the FLDS situation. What would you do? |
FLDS? Tell that Mormon to fuck off. |
"...at least $700..." |
So, the money would propogate the innocence of 60 year-olds fucking 13 year olds in the name of religious conviction. Sheesh...even criminals and Satanists admit such a thing is wrong, but they did it anyway. How far gone are you when you commit child rape and say "God loves it?" |
Nobody talking about that woman who was imprisoned for 24 years by her own father and had about seven kids by him in that time? |
Well the rest of the world / internet seems to be obsessed with that story so it's kind of nice to have a haven without everyone gabbing about it. |
Especially when it's under this forum title....right? *scratches head* |
I heard about it but I didn't pay much attention until I saw the video of him vacationing (on Nancy Grace). I'm sure everyone will be fine once they are readjusted to daylight exposure. |
I blame Steve Kerr. If you want to point fingers because of the Shaq trade, aim those digits towards Mike D'Antoni, homeboy. HE wanted Shaq. |
Shaw was OK. But Steve Nash played like a Canadian. Too many turn overs in the 4th quarter. |
If you want to point fingers because of the Shaq trade, aim those digits towards Mike D'Antoni, homeboy. HE wanted Shaq. It doesn't matter what he wanted. He wasn't the general manager. They call these things hierarchies for a reason. |
They call these things hierarchies for a reason. Yeah, but that's not how they've been set up. Remember, D'Antoni was coach/GM before they brought in Kerr, and it's been more of a committee-type setup. If/when D'Antoni gets fired/leaves, Kerr will wield much more power. It's really a front office in transition from Jerry and Brian Colangelo's guys over to Sarver's guys. |
If/when D'Antoni gets fired/leaves Isn't he already gone? |
At any rate, the Shaq trade follows the Ace Rothstein rule: either he was in on it or he was too stupid to prevent it. Either way, epic fail. |
No, he hasn't been fired. And he probably won't be, but he might leave on his own accord. And points for the Ace rule. I have no love for Kerr, but I wouldn't solely blame him, either. I still don't fault him for rolling the dice, however. I have more of an issue with D'Antoni not developing a bench. |

#59 by FoRmaT Sorry I don't remember all the details of a 20 year old movie, you silly viking! You missed several obvious clues, your sorriness is denied! Jj's post itself had several clues, the flicker image had tags that clued you in, oh and it says "WALL-E" on the goddamn train! #67 by lwf Nobody talking about that woman who was imprisoned for 24 years by her own father and had about seven kids by him in that time? Huh, it never even occurred to me to bring it up here. I forgot we can be relevant. Actually I haven't discussed it with anyone, 'cuz… is there much to discuss? It's a story of how disgustingly cruel and inhuman humans can be, and bringing it up seems like an invitation for everyone to sort of nod and agree with that before we'd move on to another topic. "Gaggle doesn't believe anyone should bother gaining skill in anything because anyone could gain skill in anything if they just put the time to it." - BjB
gaggle, what the hell is WALL-E? I honestly have no idea :( And I thought when jj said "I did this at work" he meant "I did it at work because I was bored", not "I made this because it's what I do"... "Action stars of two decades ago shot .44 bullets out of their cocks. Honestly, if me and Charles Bronson were in the same room I'd kill myself just to make sure he didn't hurt me."
Clearly, format has never heard of google. |
Ok, ok, just googled it up. Now I know. Life goes on. Sheesh, people. "Action stars of two decades ago shot .44 bullets out of their cocks. Honestly, if me and Charles Bronson were in the same room I'd kill myself just to make sure he didn't hurt me."
Still denied. "Gaggle doesn't believe anyone should bother gaining skill in anything because anyone could gain skill in anything if they just put the time to it." - BjB
Is there anyone Roger Clemens didn't bang? |
FLDS aren't Mormons and Wall-E is the new Pixar cartoon coming out this summer. |
I thought Clemens was a big family man? After the steroid thing did all these people just decide he was fair game now? |
Roger Clemens is the anti-sprite of baseball. |^^^^^^^^^^^^ |||__

eggbert (#44): Yeah, they "came out" a while back. Important point, it's not just "a writer from The Office", it's the guy who plays Moss Schrute on The Office. That simply takes the bizarre to another level. The video evidence. It's sad, because while he may be a "bullshit sports writer" (though I don't ever remember FJM ever going after novelists), he was a good one. You can tell he's had that brewing forever, and him and Costas were well prepared for that ambushing. So the FJM guy is who? I have no idea who Moss Schrute is... Field of Dreams will be remade in a hundred years, but with Roger Clemens instead of Shoeless Joe Jackson. <Hugin_len> Basically, cheesy doesn't have awful taste in music, he's simply very white.
Mose? (or is it really Moss, because the name sounds like Mose) Schrute is Dwight's cousin who helps him at the farm on the Office. |^^^^^^^^^^^^ |||__

Google tells me it's Mose and that's why I didn't find it when I searched Moss. "the concept that a happy worker is a productive worker is hardly an entry from Matt's Big Book Of Things The Fairies Said." - Dum

Is politics a sport? "I don't like story in games." - Soren Johnson
No. Witnesses in the house heard Jones say "why did you pee on me Pooh Bear?" A few moments later, the witness heard the son say "Mama you done stabbed me."
In that case, file it under date rape. "I don't like story in games." - Soren Johnson

$526 billion... or $526,000,000,000 would probably be a better way to put it. It's kind of unreal somehow. I know it's not like it would all have gone to orphans and kittens if the war in Iraq hadn't happened, but even a tiny percentage of that could have done a lot of positive things. MP3 Of The Week: Faithless - Reverence.mp3
How about eight times that amount? That's how much the national debt has increased (also from the article). Could have done a lot of good with that money. "I don't like story in games." - Soren Johnson

Could have bought absolutely loads of Bob legs. MP3 Of The Week: Faithless - Reverence.mp3

Exactly! It would be like the MacArthur grant, but instead it allows really lazy people to be all they can be. "I don't like story in games." - Soren Johnson

They could have built Nintendo enough factories to make a Wii for anyone who wants one. What a world this would be. Game Developers: Don't forget the zombie monkeys.

Exactly! It would be like the MacArthur grant, but instead it allows really lazy people to be all they can be. Ok, I lol'ed. Kudos. Invention is the Green Goblin of Necessary Lemonade.

A poll I saw yesterday has Bush's approval rating two points lover than Nixon's when he resigned. WTF, people couldn't figure out earlier how much they disliked the guy? How would it be to have a job where only 20% of the people you work for think you're doing a good job, but you still get paid? |
For some bosses, it's awesome, because they love to piss other people off. "Action stars of two decades ago shot .44 bullets out of their cocks. Honestly, if me and Charles Bronson were in the same room I'd kill myself just to make sure he didn't hurt me."
The problem is people liked, or still like, Bush the man, they just don't approve of the job he's doing. The democrats didn't realize that people want to vote for a guy they like, or else they wouldn't have run a pretentious east-coast intellectual. Game Developers: Don't forget the zombie monkeys.
