So is Planetcrap dead then?
April 8th 2008, 02:18 CEST by Chunkstyle

In #planetcrap the question came up of whether the site is finally dead.  Post counts are down to the level of when the Crap started, the number of posters is way down (especially when you include Joker alts), and the level of discussion has dropped as well.

So is that it?  Have the multitude of other gaming sites and forums removed the need for the crappiest place on the web?  Will the last one to leave forever please turn off the server?

When I had satellite TV I trimmed down the list of 200 or so channels of complete crap to a favorites menu of maybe 15 channels, it was great.

I found out that UVerse has a way to fix my problem. All I have to do is individually go through a thousand channels and choose which ones I don't want in the guide.

You suckers with your one-button solution. I laugh at you!

What's that about Caryn's feet? Did the bellydancing give her the ability to kick a man's head clean off?

The protruding upper halves of the letters now appear, in the local language, to read “Go stick your head in a pig”, and are no longer illuminated, except at times of special celebration.

This is that Friday lull we were talking about. Isn't everyone sitting at work, fidgeting and muttering "come on weekend hurry up" under their breath? Seems like PC would be a perfect way to pass the time.

I'm so burned out right now that I'm doing all the easy little things like filling and organizing and building my future project lists. Stuff that I've put off for weeks and doesn't take much brain power. There's a giant box full of stuff to be archived that I need to cram in a filing cabinet somewhere. So it can sit there for 3 years before we throw it out.

So, that's it then. Obama put out a weak statement supporting the bill with a promise at a half-assed and doomed effort to strip immunity out.

The president will keep his power to spy on American citizens at will without court approval. The telephone companies will get thier pass. We will not find out through the courts the extent of the illegal activities that have been perpetrated against the American people for the last 7 years.

Bush wins. AT&T wins. The Democrats caved big time.

I'd be lying if I said I was surprised. Honestly, it's just disappointing and sad at this point. I'll be working hard to unseat the fuckers in the Democratic party who supported this bullshit, but it's sad to think that so much work has to be done to fix this stupidity and abuse of civil liberties.

But they've already got a majority in the house, that's what I don't get.  They have the clout to at the very least prevent any more stupid shit getting passed, and they're bending over like a hooker during fleet week.
