PlanetCrap's Least Comprehensible Troll -- bago. Again. Slim pickings here. PlanetCrap's Most Pretentious Troll -- Marsh Davies. Pretty much no one else in contention, but then again to be able to wax lyrically about games takes a special troll. PlanetCrap's Best Drama Queen Troll -- Warren Marshall for leaving in a huff. PlanetCrap's Best Cliche-spawning Troll -- No new cliches, PC is dying!!1! PlanetCrap's Most Predictable Troll -- Joker. Big old YF Yawn for this one. PlanetCrap's Spolier Troll -- Greg, because, well, he's a Philly fan and that's enough. PlanetCrap's Best Annoying Troll -- Eastern Europe's finest, assembler and anaquicerm PlanetCrap's Most Witty Troll -- Dum wins this for the Crysis review. He regained this following quitting the WoW habit which allowed him to play other games. PlanetCrap's Best New Troll/Lurker to Troll -- No new blood. PC is dying!!1! Re: Warren and Ray leaving Well after reading the context of their leaving, I must conclude that they were already pissed or disillusioned with PC and that was simply the last straw for them. Some of the responses were stinging, but none were overboard and Warren's hubris has always been a problem for him. I have been on the receiving end of a few Gabe retorts and it's easy to take offense or be hurt by how the words look on the page-but then I think of Gabe smirking, neatly groomed, holding a hotdog and giving me a big thumbs-up and it doesn't hurt anymore. This is the key problem in having debates within this medium. There is no tone, inflection or body language to convey or dispel the aggressiveness of the statements. It's all flat accusative text saying "YOU ARE DUMB/WRONG/SIMPLE/IMMATURE/PIGGISH" etc. I've left a few times, although never really due to a conflict here (and I have been pwnd by both Caryn and Foodbunny on topics that they knew way more about than I did)-I just like the people here. They're real-warts and all. *GROUP HUG* Ahem-flame away. Also-when people leave with such drama, I just know they check the thread a few times to see what everyone is saying about them for at least a few days afterwards. Everyone likes to be missed. |

PlanetCrap's Worst Attempt At A Troll -- Ng Yo. Who? Exactly. Ng Yo really deserves "Best Troll Trapped In The Internet Of 1997 And Doesn't Want To Leave". PlanetCrap's Best Drama Queen Troll -- Warren Marshall for leaving in a huff. Warren gave good drama, but I have to agree Penguin's vegan fit was more delicious. PlanetCrap's Best Annoying Troll -- Eastern Europe's finest, assembler and anaquicerm This isn't totally fair, I quite like Anacuer. Replace him with Format and it'll all be good. He regained this following quitting the WoW habit which allowed him to play other games. If I'm totally honest there may have been a certain amount of recidivism on that front, but careful monitoring and selective play styles has allowed me to stay casual. Honest! And it's in no way getting in the way of me writing up a Stalker review. PlanetCrap's Best Troll with a Wii -- BobJustBob. Please sell it and buy it again, please! I think the Wii repurchase was probably worthy of overall TOTY, but I suppose Gabe has done some good work over the year as well. Yea, Px is a better choice for drama queen, what with a leaving forever and then coming back and all that. Such is life. The Bob thing is ok, but not overall TOTY worthy. We all knew it was going to happen, plus, Bob is so earnest in what he believes he doesn't get how he's trolling. Hhhmm, maybe most clueless troll award. I feel kinda bad that Warren left, but I think has you say, he was dealing with this and was unable to take this place already. He was always unable to take shit, but always happy to deal it, but at the end, he got even more sensitive about it all. I don't feel bad that Warren isn't here shitting the place up anymore. I don't know whether it was him or just a tipping point, but planetcrap got a LOT better after he left. People leave when they don't want to deal anymore, or get busy with rl or it just doesn't matter. And I think that's great. Be here if you want, don't if you don't. It's funny because its true! It's kind of like watching BET Comicview in reverse. I liked "Standing Still at Concerts", "Living by the Water" and "Top Ten Hip Hop Song White People Love" (I can't count how many times I've seen people try to play Baby Got Back ironically).
