Why we love Warren
March 15th 2007, 18:54 CET by Gabe Is it his continual need to point out that he hates sports? Is it his witty one liners like "What?"? Repetitiveness rocks? Here's your chance to post your thoughts! Also, this pushed the other sports topic off the front page. |

I'm pretty okay with Warren. |
"crapsifter 68" That... confuses me. |
probably someone trying to figure out when jibble came up with it. and on topic: i'm 3/3 so far in my work pool. |^^^^^^^^^^^^ |||__

68 times? |

You can't see Jibble being obsessive about anything? |^^^^^^^^^^^^ |||__
| こんにちは | ||'|"\,__. |_..._...______===|=||_|__|...,] (@)'(@)"""*|(@)*(@)*****(@) |

I'm OK with Warren too, except when he's a jerk. |
It's possible that people were trying to find the original info from Gunp0int. Lady, people aren't chocolates. But you know what they are, mostly? Bastards. Bastard-coated bastards with bastard filling.

Isn't "google" one of the top search terms on Google? Or maybe it's just on Yahoo? Even I know what crossing the Rubicon means, and I know fuck all about American history. -m0nty
What, you mean the links to the PC XML feeds? IIRC I e-mailed those to Jibble. So Dick van Dyke, Rod Stewart, Don Johnson and Peter O'Toole walk into a bar...
Warren is a blessing from God and you should all be thankful for him. |
I like Warren, and what? still cracks me up occasionally. Actually, the liberalism of the media - as a general thing - IS a major fallacy. What the media is, is a whore. -LP Johnsen Family

I like Warren because of his incessant trolling, red beard and Australian wit. |
I love Warren because his argument style is exactly like a teenagers, and that makes me laugh. |
What, you mean the links to the PC XML feeds? IIRC I e-mailed those to Jibble. Probably. Meh. Doesn't matter, it'll be fixed soon, and we'll all be back to referencing shit that happened three months ago..."back to"...heh. Lady, people aren't chocolates. But you know what they are, mostly? Bastards. Bastard-coated bastards with bastard filling.

This is why I think it's funny. I wrote the xml feeds and OC, yet never asked for something. |
I guess jibble is just better at grubbing money that you are! |
I'm retarded! |
Actually, I never really asked for anything. LWF put an offer on the table, so I took him up on it. Tell you what, if he follows through, I'll split it with you. Lady, people aren't chocolates. But you know what they are, mostly? Bastards. Bastard-coated bastards with bastard filling.

I don't want anything beyond the amusement. |

Sounds everyone is getting what they wanted. Except Warren. |
Aw fuck so retarded. |

I also love Warren because he's happy with his old Mustang, even though the now sell much much cooler Mustangs. Game Developers: Don't forget the zombie monkeys.

#38 by Chunkstyle I also love Warren because he's happy with his old Mustang, even though the now sell much much cooler Mustangs. My Mustang is paid off. |

So is my Honda Accord. Doesn't make it any less old and not-cool. Lady, people aren't chocolates. But you know what they are, mostly? Bastards. Bastard-coated bastards with bastard filling.

Wow, I subliminally said it was an Accord when it's a Civic. Weird. Lady, people aren't chocolates. But you know what they are, mostly? Bastards. Bastard-coated bastards with bastard filling.

No car payments = best car in the world. |

I thought you had an Element. Even I know what crossing the Rubicon means, and I know fuck all about American history. -m0nty

Shadarr, that's not paid off yet, so it's not as fun to beat Warren with. Lady, people aren't chocolates. But you know what they are, mostly? Bastards. Bastard-coated bastards with bastard filling.

Trying to look cool is why this country has a negative savings rate. Also, fuck you. |
My car had only one car payment. Thankfully, I know people who can help me maintain it, and it's cheap enough that all the damage I've done to it through neglect has been OK. It isn't a Fallout game unless I use my pickpocketing skill to place a ticking dynamite bomb into the pockets of an 8 year old boy.
My TT has been paid off for almost two years. I had a Civic, but sold it. |
#40 by Jibble So is my Honda Accord. Doesn't make it any less old and not-cool. How are you still liking your other car Jibble? And how's the gas mileage? Actually, the liberalism of the media - as a general thing - IS a major fallacy. What the media is, is a whore. -LP Johnsen Family

Trying to look cool is why this country has a negative savings rate. Also, fuck you. You should know that looking cool is the last thing on my priority list. I drive an Element! jj, not sure which car you're talking about. The Civic has been relegated to emergency use because it's not as comfortable as the Element. The gas mileage in the Element is okay, but when we pay it off we'll be buying a comfy hybrid (probably an Accord) to replace the Civic. Lady, people aren't chocolates. I love Warren because.... wait, it's coming to me... nah, I got nothing. My intelligence, then, is not absolute but is a function of the society I live in

I'll never love Warren, he hurts me too much for that. But he makes me a little moist with his rebel-like attitude and 'cuz he made a kickass game. My hero! "there are times when newspapers must be rolled and then vigorously applied." - PA

I also love Warren because he hurts Gaggle. Game Developers: Don't forget the zombie monkeys.

I love Warren from afar. Far afar. Far afar away. I loved you for your beauty
and I loved you for your body there's a voice that sounds like God to me |

Warren has a rebel-like attitude? I think you need to get out more... My intelligence, then, is not absolute but is a function of the society I live in

Jibble The gas mileage in the Element is okay, but when we pay it off we'll be buying a comfy hybrid (probably an Accord) to replace the Civic. You can't put out low-hanging fruit like that here! There's trolls in these waters. Anyway, hurrah for modern life; constant war for some, constant campaigning for a few, constant billing for all! MP3 Of The Week: Henry Thomas - Bulldoze Blues.mp3 (?)

The gas mileage in the Element is okay, but when we pay it off we'll be buying a comfy hybrid (probably an Accord) to replace the Civic. I was talking about the Element. My wife likes how they look and how roomy they are. Our Camry just hit 260,000 miles so we're starting to accept it may not run forever and plan for the future. I remembered you were pretty high on it when you first purchased it and I just wondered if you were still as excited about it? She likes the Element and the one that looks similar to it, the Scion I think? Anyway, we'd love to go hybrid, but we have to weigh in the fact we may lose our free mechanic if we do. Also we'll be buying used, so I'm waiting to see how hybrids stack up in the used market. Actually, the liberalism of the media - as a general thing - IS a major fallacy. It's a love/hate relationship with Warren. I love Warren because he shared the source code for Bubble Bomb and it had a nifty recursive routine for finding the touching bubbles i couldn't be arsed to figure out on my own. I hate Warren for using BlitzBasic, closing the source , starting a web page and trying to make a buck off it. Zep-- Save the cheerleader ... Save the world.
I love Warren because it requires no permits, tax usage or federal authority to do so. |

The gas mileage in the Element is okay, but when we pay it off we'll be buying a comfy hybrid (probably an Accord) to replace the Civic. A hybrid accord won't give you much in the way of a gas savings over a normal accord, and cost a bit more. It's one of those we stuck batteries in it to be cool but really it's just so we can get more horses out of it hybrids, not a save the planet even though I'm not really saving the planet hybrids, like the civic. And I come for the Warren, but I stay for the pie. "Testiculos habet et bene pendentes" — "He has testicles, and they dangle nicely."

jj, we tried to sit in a Scion at a car show and it felt really cramped for us (she and I are both 6'0"). We both still love the Element, and are completely happy with our decision. Plenty of room, the fold-up seats are great for hauling stuff, and we're constantly using the built-in Aux jack to listen to the iPod. As for mileage, we drive a decent bit to work each day, and we generally get a little under 290 miles or so before the light comes on. The mileage estimates put our car at 22/27, with a 15.9 gallon tank. I usually only fill it to around 14 gallons, so that puts it right in at 20mpg. Not great, but the CR-V only hits 22/28 and costs about $2k more at the same trim level. Of course, the Scion is a lot cheaper (starts at $15k) and gets better mileage (30/32), so if you like it I have nothing against it. The only issue we've had so far with the Element is that a few of the screws on the underside of both of the rear doors came loose recently. They hold on a cosmetic piece, but it was odd that several of them started coming loose at once. The only reason I knew about it was that one of them fell out onto the floor of my garage when I opened the door one day. I got a screwdriver, tightened them all up, and we haven't had a problem since. Lady, people aren't chocolates. But you know what they are, mostly? Bastards. Bastard-coated bastards with bastard filling.

See, this is what I tell my wife, but her concern is the ability to put babies in the back seat. I'm whipped, so she'll probably win. Hooray for caring for the babies but fucking up their future at the same time! OIL ORGY! Lady, people aren't chocolates. But you know what they are, mostly? Bastards. I love Warren when he's talking about game development and shares his insights on his work. I like him when he's funny. I dislike him when he's not funny. I hate him when he's acting like an asshole (no matter if I agree with him or not). In fact, I think this applies to everyone here. But I can't hate people for more than 30 minutes. Not even Anon and Lelsie. My boring blog.
