Tidings of Joy!
December 15th 2005, 21:06 CET by Chunkstyle What are you asking for this year? What are you buying others? Why do English people eat puddings? Why do people buy that album of dogs barking Jingle Bells? What's your favorite Christmas memory? Do you believe in Santa Claus, or are you a joyless Scrooge? |

anaqer, nice choice, our insurance policy just replaced a water soaked DSC-P120 with this As for what I want for Xmas, I've really struggled this year other than asking for some DVD's and some airfix model cars, I kind of feel I have pretty much everything I need. |
|
Oh and anyone else who's just picked up a new ipod I can highly recommend picking up this adapter. No longer do I need to buy stupidly expensive memory cards. |
|
I'm supposed to be getting a copy of X3 and a Saitek Cyborg Evo. People buy albums of dogs barking Jingle Bells for a very simple reason, chaseing off guest after they've over stayed their welcome. |
|
Oh, and Merry Christmas to you all, especially our friends in the Great White North. HEARD IT over and over and over and over and over and over... Aeternum vale

Goddamn this is funny. Probably a SEEN IT, but... Jay Pinkerton - Superman Origin Comics Happy holidays! Yet another MP3 that Squeaky can't appreciate: xploding plastix - Treat Me Mean, I Need The Reputation

Yahoo is covering everything, no cutaway to commercials.. It's interesting to see this all happen live. |
|
Schnee, that was too fucking good. |
|
Today's P-A is kind of funny. With your plan they'd be all like "everyone with weasels in their pants thinks they're great dancers but they're not, they've just got weasels in their pants."
Blog. 220 lbs. 40 to go. |

schnee-- Thanks for that link. That's of the funniest things I've read in quite a while. Intaxication: Euphoria at getting a tax refund, which lasts until you realize it was your money to start with.

HAR! NSFW HAR! HAR! |

What in the holy mother fuck? NSFW. |
|
Wow, someone paid $20,000 to be in a Penny Arcade strip? I know, charity, for a good cause, etc. but gotdamn that\'s a lot of money just for that. |
|
What's interesting about it? Watching Sheryl Crow lip-sync live? |
|
...that was for Hulka. |
|
Whole lotta uncanny valleys in this anime/CGI porn clip. Obviously NSFW. |
|
The first 30 seconds of the Xpolding Plastix cut is great. But then it goes on and does the same thing another 30 seconds. Then it mixes things up a bit, but still feels a little "same-y". it's a shame, I like the energy of the cut, I just wish they'd been more agressive about varying that underlying piano line (or whatever it is). |
|
Oh yeah baby, I'm all over Sheryl Crow, got all her albums, wear her pajamas, wash her car, walk her dog.. yeah baby.. Crowism.. You go Sheryl... You go girl... |
|
So uh...I guess Penguin's off work today... With your plan they'd be all like "everyone with weasels in their pants thinks they're great dancers but they're not, they've just got weasels in their pants."

I heard he got deported to Australia. Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection,
The lovers, the dreamers, and me. |

Slow day. Stupidly left my tablet at home so they'll be no drawlin' either. My arms are tired from a rough week of manual labor at the homestead anyhow. Thus, videosplosion! |

Dragon Quest VIII bitches, get it! Zep-- Inverted Mouse 4 Life, YO!

Yeah, I agree the clip is a bit repetitive. The album has other songs that hang together better as an entire song, but I like the energy. It's awesome for driving fast, which is where I do most of my music listening. Yet another MP3 that Squeaky can't appreciate: xploding plastix - Treat Me Mean, I Need The Reputation

My Nerdgasm Blog entry will be short today. Whoever recommended Supreme Power to me, thank you. That is all. Accipere quam facere praestat injuriam...

Well, that was interesting. I was just trying to activate a new installation of Photoshop CS2 (this one for the Mac) and the activation kept bombing out. I called the phone activation and it failed as well, so I transferred to a living person and she tried and still it failed. The serial number was coming up as revoked due to having been used before. Since I just took it out of the shrink wrap this afternoon, that seemed unlikely. The lady I was speaking to suggested I have my secretary speak with the people she ordered it from, since they might have sold me a returned copy or something. I was beginning to grow angry about that possibility (but not at the Adobe employee - she was amazingly friendly, which I'm not used to on tech support type calls) when I recalled that I had installed the trial version previously. So anyway, I'm thinking that maybe it didn't remove the trial's serial number or something, so I grab my jewel case and look at the numbers to see if they match, which they do. Well, all except for two, which I dyslexia-reversed when I was entering it. Apparently, my typo was still a valid serial number. I would have thought they'd be less similar number strings than that, but it was probably a fluke. The lady and I just laughed about it, then I uninstalled and reinstalled with the correct serial number and all was right with the world. I know that was a boring story. I apologize. Accipere quam facere praestat injuriam...

Good to see you back, Jeet. The 'crap is looking very forlorn and empty right now. I'm sure some of it is due to the holidays, but definitely not all of it. Yet another MP3 that Squeaky can't appreciate: xploding plastix - Treat Me Mean, I Need The Reputation

The keygen I used for CS2 worked flawlessly so I guess there's a lesson here for us all. MP3 Of The Week: Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Red Right Hand.mp3 (?)

Jeet You're welcome. Funk. I am sofa king. We todd ed.

Jeet, now you have to read one of my picks so I can feel as warm and tingly as Funk. Actually, the liberalism of the media - as a general thing - IS a major fallacy. What the media is, is a whore. -LP

jjohnsen, I bet you can get the same sensation from an enema. |
|
I will again say I didn't really like Supreme Power. So I guess it's a good thing you didn't listen to me. Aeternum vale
|
|
Although, based on that, I have some more stuff I wouldn't recommend for you. I don't know if you've read these or not, but I thoroughly unenjoyed them and wouldn't want you to read them: Sleeper (it's only 4 trades long, best... errr.... worst comic I've read) Top Ten Walking Dead Conan (The new Busiek/Nord stories. Really cool stuff, gorgeous art) Whiteout Aeternum vale

What did you recommend again, jj? Oh, and Squeaky! Look! TIN! Accipere quam facere praestat injuriam...

I will again say I didn't really like Supreme Power. So I guess it's a good thing you didn't listen to me. Yes, I don't listen to you with regards to music, and that's served me well too. Yet another MP3 that Squeaky can't appreciate: xploding plastix - Treat Me Mean, I Need The Reputation

It's also more fun at parties. Accipere quam facere praestat injuriam...

Jeet- Walking Dead, Y-The last man, Ultimates and Fables. Only one is a superhero comic, so they may not be what you want right now. Actually, the liberalism of the media - as a general thing - IS a major fallacy. What the media is, is a whore. -LP
