Actually, Deth, I read that link on creationism, and I'm not sure anything wrong is going on there. It states that alternative theories could be taught, which, if anything, could open up more discussion and debate in the classroom. I don't see that as a bad thing. |

Science, by its definition is something antithetical religion. I see no reason that religion should be taught in science lessons. That's not to say that religion shouldn't be postured as an alternative discipline to science, but we have religious education classes for that very purpose. It's like trying to introduce the teaching of Spanish to English classes. Both are very popular, but should be recognised as seperate teaching subjects. |

Heh. I just had an old memory triggered by this creationism discussion. I was sitting in a lab for my Zoology course in college and we were going over a section on evolution. The guy next to me stood up and yelled "Come on people, we didn't evolve from monkeys!" Everyone ignored him and he sat back down, looking defeated. It was pretty damn funny. |

Their claws specifically single out the cuticle area of my fingers as good stabbing zones.
